CHUNKY_LOOP_PHONE_BAG

The Chunky Loop Phone Bag is worked from the bottom up. First, stitches for the bottom are cast on using Judy’s magic cast-on method. The bag is then worked in eyelet pattern in the round and finished at the top with an I-cord hem and strap.

Option 1_

4 strands of leftover yarn, each (50 g / 100-115 m).

Total quantity required / per strand approx. 72 g / 18 g. (Excluding gauge sample).

The purple chunky_loop_phone_bag in the photo is made in 2 strands Peruvian from Filcolana, colors: Oatmeal mel. (978) and Slightly purple (369), 1 strand Merinull from Sandnes, color Strandskal (Sea Shell) (2125), and 1 strand Soft Cotton from Lang Yarns, color Sky Grey (0022)

Option 2_

1 strand Cheerful Tube yarn (55% cotton, 45% Polyamide) 100 g / 50 m) from Selfmade.

Option 3_

4 strands Misina (100% pure new wool – 50 g/ 100 m) or Tweed Everest (95% wool, 5% rayon – 50 g / 100 m), or a combination of both. From Smuksak.  100 g

 Recommended needles_

Circular needle size 6.5 mm / US 10.5 (60 or 80 cm / 24 or 32 inches).

Gauge_

13 sts x 20 rounds of eyelet pattern on needle size 6.5 mm / US 10.5 = 10 x 10 cm / 4×4 inches.
