ELEVATION_LOOP_SWEATER

ELEVATION_LOOP_SWEATER is a sweater designed with an oversized silhouette and an elegant saddle shoulder that carries across the entire back, inspired by classic men’s knitwear. 

The sweater is worked from top down in one piece and is seamless. First stitches are cast on for mid-back of the neck, with the piece worked back and forth, first for the left shoulder, and then the right shoulder. 

Then stitches are picked up along the front and back shoulder pieces, which are worked back and forth while also making increases for the sleeves and neckline. The work is joined in the round by casting on stitches and the yoke is then worked in the round on circular needles. Then the work is divided into body and sleeves which are worked separately and finished with edges in 2×2 rib. To finish, stitches are picked up around the neckline, which is worked in 2×2 rib. The rib edge is finished with a tubular Italian bind off.

The sweater has an oversized fit with a positive ease of 25-45 cm.
You should make a size where the circumference is 25-45 cm larger than your chest measurement, depending on how oversized you’d like your sweater to be.
